Frustrated Mega Man fans waited patiently while the short-lived spin-off series Mega Man Legends was stuck in limbo, not only due to the discontinuation of the series, but also due to licensing issues preventing re-releases of the originals. That all finally changed with the original Mega Man Legends and The Misadventures of Tron Bonne showing up on the PlayStation Store in the past couple of years. And now, the trilogy is finally complete with Mega Man Legends 2 having been released in North America earlier this month.

Originally released in late 2000 for the PlayStation, Mega Man Legends 2 is widely considered the best of the three games. Unfortunately, sales were underwhelming due to it coming out so close to the release of the PlayStation 2, and the game soon became an expensive collectable. But now is the chance for fans and newcomers to discover what all the fuss is about.

Now, Capcom, about that Mega Man Legends 3…
