My parents always told me never to play violent games. Then, once when I was 6, I did. After I recovered from the bouts of terrified shouting, I found myself transformed into a huge fan of Goldeneye 64 and Doom.

Lazy Game Reviews does Edutainment Month every April, and I thought The Examined Life (of Gaming) should do that too, at least once. It’s a fun tradition, and since I went through the public school system as a kid, I spent a lot of my youth playing games with math in them.

Go to the Examined Life (of Gaming) website for more good stuff (stuff not guaranteed to be good). If you’re into social media you can also check out The Examined Life (of Gaming) Facebook page, or just gimme a yell on Twitter @ELoG_Roland. All of these things are acceptable to me.
