Wow. In his first movie since wrapping the Dark Knight trilogy two years ago, director Christopher Nolan appears to have once again proven himself to be a true master of film, combining breathtaking imagery and an outstanding cast with a story that’s NOT a remake/reboot/sequel for once. With Hans Zimmer providing another unforgettable score and word straight from Nolan’s mouth that Interstellar is his own personal tribute to the sci-fi blockbusters of his youth, such as Close Encounters of the Third Kind, I can’t help but find myself giddy with excitement in anticipation of what is unquestionably my most anticipated movie of the year.

Interstellar beams into theaters November 7.
