Square may have been the most prolific producer of demos in the 90s, but they’re not the only ones to use bonus discs to drive up sales of crap games. When used responsibly, preview discs and demos are a good way to promote a lesser known game and give your fans a taste of what’s to come. Used irresponsibly, you’ll probably sell the game back as soon as you try the demo.
