The best Multiplayer Retro Horror Games for your Halloween Party

These are my picks for the best multiplayer retro horror games to play on Halloween. Enjoy.

Halloween doesn’t feel like a big deal Downunder but as a kid, I got really invested in the Halloween specials, campy horror games and spooky snacks (tomato sauce as blood?)…

So, you’ll need to bring your own snacks and soda but at least I’ve got the games covered. I wanted to cover some of my favourite old-school multiplayer horror games. Games that I’d personally pull out for a Halloween party that don’t require a massive time investment.

You want to get into the games quick, have a blast and move on before anyone gets bored. So what games have I pulled from the murky depths of my games room to bring you tonight? A few classics, a few lesser known titles and a super decent 2D Horror Themed beat ’em up.

These are my picks for the best multiplayer retro horror games to play on Halloween. Enjoy.

– Zombies ate my Neighbors for the Sega Mega Drive
– Ghoul Patrol for the Super Nintendo
– House of the Dead for the Sega Saturn
– Vampire Hunter for the Sega Saturn
– And stay until the end for a little gameplay of Night Slashers X from the Beats of Rage engine on PC.

I also took the chance to check out one of my favourite boardgames ever, Goosebumps One Day at Horrorland.
